We are thrilled to introduce Aviation Australia’s Modular Licensing Solutions, offering an alternative route to obtaining an aircraft engineer’s licence. This pathway allows students to acquire a Part 66 Modular Licence (with limitations) more quickly and expand their licence scope over time as they gain experience and pass the required exams. Employers benefit from the flexibility to tailor the licence scope of their employees to meet business needs. It is important to note that the current legislation for a full (unrestricted) licence remains unchanged.

This pathway enables you to acquire a Part 66 Modular Licence (with limitations) more quickly and expand your licence scope over time as you gain experience and pass the required exams. 

This pathway is perfect if you: 

• Wish to specialise within a specific licence scope 

• Prefer not to pursue aspects of the full category licence 

• Lack access to work experience for a full category licence
