This course is designed to equip students who already hold their Commercial Pilot Licence and Multi Engine Instrument Rating with the competencies and qualifications to operate as a pilot in a multi crew environment.
All Civil Aviation Safety Authority (CASA) Air Transport Pilot Licence (ATPL) theory is covered in depth, as well as the important areas of risk management and aviation security.
Train in both the pilot flying and pilot monitoring roles on simulated flights, with a strong focus on scenario-based learning. Upon successful completion of this course, you will also receive a CASA approved Multi-Crew Cooperation (MCC) Certification.

Theory components are completed via online and distance learning. Access to a computer with a reliable internet connection is required.
Completed over 12 months, a minimum of 15 hours per week study commitment is required.
Once all theory components are successfully completed, practical training in the Multi-Crew Cooperation course can be undertaken (specific course dates apply).
Face to face training is located in either Brisbane, Perth or Sydney using a high-fidelity Flight Simulator Training Device based on a Boeing 737NG and includes a modern glass cockpit.
Completion of pre-course study and full-time attendance (up to 7 hours per day over 7 consecutive days) is required.
A 6-month accelerated training option is available and is suitable for those not currently working full-time as a minimum of 30 – 35 hours per week study commitment is required. Please enquire for more information.
If you are a qualified airline pilot or hold an Air Transport Pilot Licence (ATPL) or have completed ATPL theory subjects, you may be able to have your previous studies, qualifications and experience assessed for certification against this course.
Successful completion of the Advanced Diploma of Aviation (Pilot in Command) AVI60219 allows direct entry to the University of Southern Queensland (USQ) postgraduate (Graduate Certificate, Graduate Diploma or Master of Aviation Management) program.
