Aerospace Gateway Schools Program
Since 2004, Aviation Australia has proudly hosted the Queensland Government’s Aerospace Gateway to Industry Schools Program (AGISP). The program is part of a statewide strategy to build a highly skilled aerospace workforce in Queensland for the long term.
Through partnerships between schools and industry, AGISP gives young people the chance to take part in structured workplace learning, school-based apprenticeships and traineeships, and pathways into further study or full-time work. It plays a key role in helping students move from school into work while gaining formal qualifications.
By bringing the aerospace industry and education sector together, the program delivers real outcomes for teachers, students, local communities and businesses.
LifeFlight
Aviation Australia is a proud supporter of LifeFlight (formerly CareFlight), one of Australia’s largest aeromedical charities. Every year, LifeFlight provides rapid response medical care to thousands of people, bringing together its own critical care doctors, paramedics and nurses with helicopters and air ambulance jets to care for seriously ill and injured patients across Australia and around the world.
We hold regular fundraisers throughout the year to support this important work.

Aviation Australia Riyadh College
Aviation Australia Riyadh College (AARC) is a joint venture between Aviation Australia and Shamal Investments Saudi Arabia.
AARC is committed to training excellence, giving young Saudi Arabians the education and skills they need to build an aviation career. As the international operator of the International Aviation Technical College at Riyadh (IATC), AARC helps supply the aviation market with skilled, motivated and dependable technicians in line with Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030.
